What it means to live… July 20, 2007

When starting on this road of spirituality, I have undergone a lot of confusion. What does it mean to find God? How do we inculcate God in everyday living? If we choose the spiritual path, how do we live the everyday routine life and subsist in this earthly existence? How do we balance renunciation of the materialistic to living joyfully on this earth? So many questions….so few answers. Of course, the thinking has been crystallising slowly, and on some days, with some divine rays of inspiration, this understanding gets speeded up. Today, I read this post by Swahilya, and I was delighted to understand that spirituality is part of the everyday living. It is palpable in every little thing, even the most commerical of cinema…we only have to seek it. How much simpler that makes everyday living now!
